<p>Raw gas is fed to the filtration unit which comprises a number of filter sleeve elements, pref. in sintered nickel or chrome coated steel. Each sleeve is fitted with a gas nozzle to inject gas, in an opposite sense to the main flow, at a pressure 6-20 atmos. to dislodge particulates adhering to the filter elements surface thus providing a rapid cleaning process without removal or dismantling of the unit or elements.</p> |
