PURPOSE:To attain optical recording with high density and large capacity by reflecting beam light in both faces of a mirror via two converging lenses provided to both sides of the mirror turned with a tilt of 45 deg. to an optical axis so as to use a minute beam spot for high speed scanning. CONSTITUTION:The reflecting film is formed by transparent cylinders 106a, 106b, the contact face 106 is bonded with a tilt of 45 deg. to the axis center 111 and converging lenses 105a, 105b are formed to the cylinder side face incorporatedly. The beam light from the light source 101 is reflected in the turning mirror 106, converged into nearly 1mu diameter by the lens 105a to form a beam spot in two-dimension on the recording medium 108 wound on the peripheral of mirror with an equal interval from the axial center 111. On the other hand, the beam light is made incident in the mirror 106 from the lower side of the mirror and the lens 105b forms a spot. Thus, the double transmission speed is obtained and optical recording is attained with high density and large capacity by using a minute spot. |
