PURPOSE:To increase adhesive strength and to prevent the intrusion of moisture by adhering two sheets of disk substrates via a concentric spacer and melting and covering the adhered outside peripheral end face with the material of the substrate and spacer. CONSTITUTION:A recording layer 4 formed on one of the slightly long substrates 1, 1' is positioned on the inside and an adhesive agent is poured into the adhesive surface 3 of the outside peripheral spacer 2 having a concentrical shape to fix the substrate 1 and the spacer 2. The outside periphery thereof is melted and cut to a prescribed size and the end face in the adhered part is coated with the molten film 3' of the substrate and spacer, by which the recording medium is formed. The sealing structure which has the substantial adhesive strength, is less affected by the intrusion of the moisture and permits easy production is thus obtd. |
