PURPOSE:To work highly accurate and uniform small corrugation, by detecting the height of corrugation formed on a thin sheet on both sides and at the center of the sheet and controlling a rolling reduction device and a roll crown regulating mechanism feeding back the signal. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of sheet, the quality of material, and target values of the height and pitch of corrugation are set to a controlling device 35, and required rolling reduction is calculated by an arithmetic part. The thin sheet 1 is fed between rolls 5, 7, plastically deformed by roll grooves and corrugation is formed. The height of corrugation of the corrugated sheet 2 passed out from rolls 5, 7 is detected by a wave height detector 33, and the detected signal is sent to a controlling device 35 and compared with the target value. Required rolling reduction is determined and outputted to a servo valve 24. A hydraulic cylinder 22 is actuated and the clearance between rolls 5, 7 is set to a required value. Roll bending force is determined by the controlling device 35 based on the signal from the detector 33, and the result is inputted to a pressure regulating valve 29, and the pressure of pressure oil supplied from a hydraulic pump 25 to a roll bender 27 is regulated to suppress the variation of height of corrugation in the direction of width. |
