<p>What is described is a sealing closure for an orifice in a chamber having a door, the closure being pressure-tight. By means of the novel sealing closure, the door can be moved between positions in which the door is located opposite the orifice of the chamber, in which it seals off the chamber and in which it allows access to the chamber. For this, there are provided a driving element and an actuating means which have cooperating surfaces, in such a way that the actuating means is moved in two separate directions. During the movement in one direction, the door is brought into the position in which it is located opposite the chamber orifice. During the movement in the other direction, the door seals off the chamber. Also described is a device which is such that the door can assume its sealing position only when it has previously been ensured that the door cannot move away from the chamber orifice. This prevents the possibility that an undesirable pressure will build up in the chamber.</p> |
