PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of a concrete pile by bending moment resulting from the horizontal forces of earthquake, etc., by a method in which the upper part of a pile body is covered with a concrete tube, and an adhesive is injected into the aperture between the concrete tube and the pile body to combine them integrally. CONSTITUTION:A pile body 1 is driven into the ground at first, and a concrete tube 2 having a block plate 7 at its lower end is driven or penetrated in such a way as to surround the pile body 1 by the concrete tube 2. In this case, the breakage of the tube 2 by an internal pressure resulting from the intrusion of soil and sand into the aperture between the pile body 1 and the tube 2 is prevented by the block plate 7. An adhesive 6, e.g., grout, etc., is injected into the aperture between the pile body 1 and the concrete tube 2 to combine them 1 and 2 integrally. Since the portion liable to bending moment of the pile 1 is covered with the tube 2, the breakage of the pile 1 can be prevented and therefore, the diameter of the whole of the pile can be made smaller. |
