PURPOSE:To perform the monitoring of transfer state, and to forecast up to the end of transfer, etc., by sequentially displaying line numbers of a program on a screen of a monitor television during the transfer of the program. CONSTITUTION:When a keyboard KB is operated, a CPU executes an instruction stored in an ROM, reads out data stored in a recorder CRT and then stores the data in a prescribed area of a variable memory RAM. The data stored in the CTR are read out in each line and each line number is temporally stored in a line number temporary storage area prepared in the RAM. Every completion of one line, the line number of a stored data is read out and displayed on the monitor television MTV. Thereafter, said operation is repeated. Consequently, the monitoring of transfer state and the forecast of the prescribed time up to the end of transfer are optionally performed. |
