PURPOSE:To improve the using efficiency of a processor and to attain high speed processing, by providing a terminal controlling means with a control table and sequencer circuit, and processing the control of data transmission to the terminal independently of software. CONSTITUTION:In the terminal controlling table 9, an instruction from a software is converted into a macroinstruction and stored in an RAM or the like. A sequencer 10 sets up or resets necessary information to/from the table in accordance with a specification from the processor 1, searches information in the table successively, and when transmission/reception is necessary, controls the transmission/reception of data to/from a serial/parallel converting circuit 4. If transmission or reception is ready, the terminal side returns respectively specified response signal. Receiving the response signal, a terminal controlling means 8 transmits or receives data to/from the terminal. Thus the transmission control to each terminal is processed independently of the software. |
