The disclosed box is intended particularly to receive slides framed in a framing machine. The box has a housing defined by slightly conical walls extending slightly downwardly and struts arranged inside and of which the height is smaller than that of the inside of the box. In order to facilitate the separation when a large number of boxes are piled, the box has at least in two opposite sides an outwardly protuberant ridge of which the distance to the bottom is larger than the distance between the upper edge of the box and the upper ridge of the struts. Thereby, when a plurality of boxes are nested into each other, the lower box is engaged with such a degree of freedom in the pile that it may fall under the action of gravity and may be so easily detached from the pile that an automatic unstacking of the boxes is possible. |
