PURPOSE:To shorten processing time, by storing the area of an error generated during the access to a magnetic disc, and after completing the whole access, executing error retrial only in the error area. CONSTITUTION:When an error checking circuit 3 detects a cyclic redundancy check CRC error of a data part on a magnetic disc, a data error signal DER is inputted to an arithmetic controlling circuit 6. When a CRC error of an identification part ID is detected, an error signal IER is also inputted to the circuit 6. When an error is detected on the magnetic disc side, a detecting signal ER is inputted to a disc timing controlling circuit 5 and the circuit 6. When an ID comparator 7 detects coincidence between the disc address of the register 8 and the address data read out from the magnetic disc, the comparator 7 generates a signal CS and inputs to the circuit 6. In addition to a reading gate signal RG and writing gate signal WG, a control signal CONT is sent from the circuit 5. |
