PURPOSE:To form firmly secured applique, by using a welder mold wherein a pair of electrode rods are juxtaposed in the same plane with an insulating space therebetween and each are provided with shearing blades projected at their tips. CONSTITUTION:A welder mold W is constructed such that electrode rods W2, W3 are juxtaposed in the same plane with an insulating space therebetween formed by an insulator W1, and the forward end surfaces of the electrode rods W2, W3 each have the shearing blades C1, C2 extended therefrom that will be in shape in conform with the profile of the intended applique. An applique resin sheet A is placed on a work, that is, a surface sheet material B, then the welder mold W is put on the applique resin sheet A, an electric current from an AD power source E is passed through the electrode rods W2, W3, the sheet A is cut by the shearing blades C1, C2, and when the stoppers S1, S2 come in contact with the sheet A, the lowering motion of the welder mold W is stopped and the sheet A is welded securely to the material B. |
