A method for making commercial articles of two different flexible materials, consists of vulcanising a first component of rubber, then applying adhesive to the degreased and roughened surface of this, then applying an open-sided mould, sprayed with parting agent, onto this surface and filling the mould thus formed with the components for producing a polyurethane foam. Specif., a two-component adhesive, esp. neoprene with additives combined with isocyanate (Desmodur RTM) or a polyol adhesive combined with isocyanate additives, is used. |
