PURPOSE:To prevent runaway of both an expansion machine and a synchronous generator and perform stable operation regardless of fluctuation in a heat source and load by detecting the pressure of an inlet side and an outlet side of the expansion machine and controlling an excitation electric current of the synchronous generator according to the signal of detection. CONSTITUTION:The working fluid, first receives heat from an outside high heat source through a steam generator 2, then it is expanded in an expansion machine 1 to discharge energy, next it is condensed in a condenser 3 and further liquefied, subsequently it is pressurized by means of a pump 5 and flows into the steam generator 2 again, while energy generated in the expansion machine 1 is converted into electric energy by means of a synchronous generator 6. At this time, each pressure at the inlet and outlet sides of the expansion machine 1 is detected by means of a pressure detector 8, and the signal of this detection is sent out to an excitation electric current regulator 9 along with signals of detection from a rotational speed detector 7. Further, through controlling excitation electric current sent out from the excitation electric current regulator 9 to the synchronous generator 6, rotational speed of the expansion machine 1 and the synchronous generator 6 are maintained constant, thus the expected purpose is attained. |
