<p>A process for producing nitrilotriacetonitrile from an ammonia derivative, formaldehyde, and hydrogen cyanide, in which hydrogen cyanide is scrubbed from a gas stream (14, 28) containing hydrogen cyanide with a solution (15, 29) containing nitrilotriacetonitrile mother liquor which is used directly in the nitrilotriacetonitrile production without the purification process normally used to produce hydrogen cyanide.</p> |
