PURPOSE:To prevent the self-oscillation of a wiper, by providing a guide member, which rotates a wiper arm about its center axis, on the external surface of a car body and changing an angle formed between a blade and a window glass. CONSTITUTION:A joint member 10 is connected to an arm head 7 by a pivot 11 coaxial with the center axis of said member. Accordingly, the joint member 10 is rotatable with respect to the arm head 7. The main unit 8 of an arm is coapled to the joint member 10 by a pin 9. Further, rollers 12, 13 rotatably mounted to the pivot 11 are provided on the joint member 10. While a guide member 14 is mounted on the external surface of a car body below the wiper arm 4. A guide face 15 having a slope surface is formed on said guide member 14, and the rollers 12, 13 are engaged with the guide face 15. And when the wiper arm 4 comes to the extreme end of a swinging stroke, the rollers 12, 13 are engaged with the slope surface to rotate the arm 4, and an angle formed between a blade and a glass is changed. |
