PURPOSE:To reduce greatly the time needed for reproduction started from the head of the 1st music, by preventing a pickup from going back to the inside read-in area from the head of the 1st music on a disk in a backward operation mode. CONSTITUTION:The input level of each part is set after a time point (t0) in the timing chart of each part shown in the figure in a backward operation mode. That is, the output terminal of a read-in area detecting circuit 32 is set at a low level as shown by (a). While the output terminal of an inverter 33 is set at a high level as shown by (b); the other input terminal of an AND gate 34 is set at a high level as shown by (c); and the output terminal of the gate 34 is set at a high level as shown by (d) respectively. However, if the head address [01] of the 1st music is detected at a time point (t1), no output exists to be supplied to an input terminal REV for reverse control signal of a control circuit 201. Thus the backward operation mode is stopped, and a pickup 207 is stopped at the head part of the 1st music and set under a pause mode to be never reset within the read-in area. |
