PURPOSE:To prevent forward sliding and lateral swinging of a passenger and improve driving comfortability by a method wherein a cushion body made of foamed material is mounted on and fixed to a hollow base seat made of synthetic resin so as to construct a vehicle seat. CONSTITUTION:A cushion body fixing flange 11 is projected at the right and left side walls and front wall of a hollow base seat made of synthetic resin 10. At the front bottom part of the seat is integrally formed a chassis fixing lug 12 and at the upper circumference are arranged the upper bulged-out portions 13a-13d. The upper central part 13d surrounded by said bulged-out portions is formed in a slant form such that its front side is higher than its rear side. The lug is fixed to the floor of chassis with a fastener such as a bolt etc. To the cushion body fixing flange 11 is fixed a removable engaging means such as a velvet type fastner, and the cushion body 20 is fixed through a cover member 30 to form a seat. The upper surface of said cushion body 20 is made slant with its front side being heigher than its rear side. |
