PURPOSE:To prevent an erroneous recording operation, by inhibiting recording when a detecting means which detects whether the direction of an original is normal or not detects an improper direction of the original. CONSTITUTION:For example, when an original having holes for codes such as a punch card is used, low-level detectors 40 and 41 output low-level signals every time the 1st sensor 34 and the 2nd sensor 35 detect holes of the sheet. When a holeless original is used, the low-level detectors 40 and 41 output high-level signals at any time. Then when a belt stopping device 46 operates, the driving of a conveyor belt is stopped. |
