<p>PIPE HOLDER A tobacco pipe having a bowl with a cavity therein and a stem with two separable sections retained together by cooperating projection and recess at opposite ends, in which a magnetic device is inserted in the stem to hold the pipe firmly on a metal object in an upright position. The magnetic device may be in the form of a ring which slips on one of the stem sections or may be of a horseshoe shape or an inverted U-shape with an element wedged between the two sections for holding the magnetic device in firm position on the pipe. The magnetic device can be inserted in commercial pipes and removed therefrom, or it may be an elongated piece inserted in a slot in the underside of one of the stem sections.</p> |
