PURPOSE:To select plural sound recording grooves of a record disk and furthermore to reproduce the selected recording groove each time, by opening a switch mechanism when a tone arm has a rotary movement toward the center of the record disk from the start point of reproduction and then reaches the end of reproduction. CONSTITUTION:When the 1st switch 16 is closed, a motor M drives a record disk 3. Then a tone arm 8 reaches the end 5 of reproduction of the disk 3 and pushes a mobile contact 31 to separate this contact from a fixed contact 31 of the 2nd switch 31. The motor M stops its operation, and therefore the revolution of the disk 3 stops. When the switch 16 is closed, the disk 3 starts its resolutions. Then a pickup 6 moves toward the center to push a turn arm 13, and therefore the arm 13 is shifted to the upper surface of an up-turn cam 20. The arm 13 is lifted by the revolution of the cam 20, and a speaker unit SP floats up away from the recording surface of the disk 3. Then the pickup 6 and a reproducing stylus 26 are reset and moved down to match with a reproduction start point 4 of an outside sound recording groove 2. |
