PURPOSE:To hold the display of an indication value only when the indication value is stable, by calculating the mean value and deviation of a specified number of up-to-date data on every sampling operation and detecting the stableness of the indicated value automatically, and also detecting said value becoming unstable automatically. CONSTITUTION:The number of data is increased successively from (i) on every data sampling operation and their mean value Wo' is calculted. When the deviation (do-Wo') of up-to-date sampling data do from the mean value Wo' enters the range of stable width B (=RN1/2 where R is obtained by multiplying the standard deviation of the repetitiveness of this scale by a constant (k) and N is the number of data for calculating the mean value Wo'), the hold display 41 of the mean value Wo' is performed. The difference between the mean value Wo and last similar mean value W1 is increased continuously by specified times and when the deviation (do-Wo') goes beyond the range of stable width Bx constant (k), the hold display is reset and the mean value Wo of (i) pieces of data is displayed momentarily. |
