PURPOSE:To impart a filler material with excellent properties for preventing gap corrosion, by manufacturing the filler material from a mixture of a matrix and at least one of wool or powder of an electrochemically poor metal or alloy mixed at the rate of 1-80vol%. CONSTITUTION:A metal or alloy electrochemically poor than the metal or alloy constituting a matrix is mixed with a filler material generally at the rate of 1-80vol% and preferably at the rate of 1-40vol%. Here, in case that the mixing rate is lower than 1vol%, no gap corrosion preventing effect is obtained since it does not function as a sacrifice anode. On the other hand, in case that the mixing rate is higher than 80vol%, plasticity and air-tightness or liquid-tightness of the filler material for preventing intrusion of a corrosive liquid are made incomplete. |
