摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the installation of a titled device in various wells and to measure the concn. of gaseous radon with high accuracy by introducing air into the well water drawn into a sepn. cylinder, and separating the gaseous radon from the well water into air while discharging the waste water by the air pressure of the air introduced into the well water. CONSTITUTION:If a valve 42 is opened, well water 12 of a prescribed depth is drawn into a sepn. cylinder 30 through a drawing pipe 16. The drawing of the water is finished where the water level attains the level equal to the water level of the well water 12 in a well 10. A prescribed amt. of clean air is introduced into the cylinder 30 through an inflow pipe 34 for the air from an air pump 36 while the valve 42 is held closed. The air introduced into the lower part of the cylinder 30 bubbles the well water 12 in the cylinder 30 by foaming and ascends by drawing therein the gaseous radon in the water 12. Said air accumulates gradually as the air contg. radon in the upper space of the cylinder 30. The air contg. gaseous radon accumulated in the cylinder 30 is supplied through a gas feed valve 40 to a concn. detector 26, by which the radiation dose is detected and the concn. thereof is measured with a concn. measuring circuit 28.
