PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of working steam by furnishing a steam mist separator, for the steam mist generated in the working jet steam, between the diffuser inlet and the working steam nozzle in the suction chamber of steam ejector and thereby separating and removing steam mist. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of vanes for separation 7 accommodated by a nozzle expansion chamber, in the number of three or more in the case of a small-sized nozzle and around 40 vanes in the case of a larger nozzle, are arranged radially from the center of the section of nozzle 4 at a certain constant spacing. The mist separator into which such vanes 7, longitudinally stretching along the steam flow inside the nozzle 4, are incorporated in close contact with the inner wall of the nozzle expansion chamber, will separate the steam mist generated in the jet steam with high humidity blown into the suction chamber 1. Then calcium chloride etc. shall feed back the separated mist into the suction chamber 1. Thus removal and bleed-out of the mist can be made easily to assure reduction of the amount of working steam. |
