PURPOSE:To maintain a high charging efficiency of an engine and to prevent knocking thereof by providing a fuel supply controller which increases the fuel to air ratio obtained by a supplementary fuel supply means and reduces the same ratio obtained by a main fuel supply means in the case of high load and low speed running of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A main fuel supply means and a supplementary fuel supply means are disposed in a main intake passage and a supplementary intake passage, respectively. With an engine running under a high load, a supercharging range discriminating device 102 generates a high level output so that an output S11 is produced at a supplementary fuel injection pulse width generating circuit 107. With the engine running in a middle and low speed range, the pulse width of the output of the circuit 107 is elongated by the output signal S10 from a revolution range discriminating device 114. Consequently, the quantity of fuel which is supplied from an injector 80 is increased, whereas the quantity of fuel from an injector 54 is reduced as much as the increment. Thus a high charging efficiency may be maintained and knocking can be prevented effectively. |
