CONSTITUTION:The rest time of the timer is displayed by the indication position of the pointer of a time display part after the timer is started. When an external operaion member 5 which has three states is pulled out from the 1st stage to the 2nd stage, a signal Sb' goes up to an Hi momentarily and while the counters for second, minute, hour, internal time, and display time are reset, a signal Sb rises to the Hi to enter a timer setting mode. At this time, the minute counter 13 is reset, so it is released from coincidence with a second hand position counter 18 and the output signal Ye of a coincidence detecting circuit 19 goes down to a Low. Therefore, a motor driving control circuit 23 selects a 16Hz signal phi16 as a motor driving signal phiM through an AND gate 32 until the indication position of the second hand coincides with the contents of the minute counter 13.
