PURPOSE:To greatly decrease the frictional resistance of the titled tripod type uniform speed universal joint by disposing in an oscillating manner a guide ring provided with rollers on a spherical receiving surface provided in a trunnion of the tripod joint. CONSTITUTION:Three grooves 10a parallel to the axis are provided equidistantly in an outside driving member 10 of a first shaft 11. Spherical receiving surfaces 17a are provided in three spiders 17 of an inside driving member 13 of a second shaft 14. A guide ring 18 provided around its outer periphery with a large number of sphereical bodies is disposed on the spherical receiving surface 17a. By inserting the guide ring 18 in the groove 10a, a tripod type uniform universal joint is formed. |
