TIMING CONTROL DEVICE IN UNIT INJECTOR

PURPOSE:To alter injection timing by changing the abutting phase of a rocker arm and a cam lobe with an eccentric body of a rocker shaft. CONSTITUTION:A rocker arm 5 is swingably mounted on an eccentric body 7 provided on a rocker shaft 6, one end of said arm 5 abutting against a tappet 3 and the other end being pivotably provided with a roller 8 which bears against a cam lobe 10 provided on a cam shaft 9. The rocker shaft 6 is pivoted in the direction of arrow Q to retard injection timing. Then, the rocker arm 5 occupies a position shown by the broken line and a contact point of the roller 8 and the cam 10 moves to a point b so that the injection timing is retarded by alpha shown in the drawing.
