PURPOSE:To provide a hair cosmetic giving smooth and moistened hair which can be combed easily, and capable of improving the lack of the stiffness of the hair, by using a lower alkyl ester salt of a mono-N-(long chain acyl) basic amino acid and an anionic surface active agent as active components. CONSTITUTION:The objective hair cosmetic contains (A) a lower alkyl ester salt of a mono-N-(long chain acyl) basic amino acid (preferably hydrochloride or L or DL-pyrrolidonecarboxylic acid salt), e.g. palmitoyl-lysine methyl ester hydrochloride and (B) an anionic surface active agent such as aliphatic alcohol sulfuric acid ester, alkyl(benzene)sulfuric acid, polyoxyethylene alkyl(phenyl) ether phosphoric acid salt, etc. The amounts of the components (A) and (B) are 0.1-5wt%, preferably 0.3-3wt%, and 0.05-2wt%, preferably 0.1-1wt%, based on the whole cosmetic, respectively. The cosmetic is used in the form of hair rinse, hair conditioner, hair lotion, etc. |
