PURPOSE:To make it possible to open and close a lid smoothly at a place where the lid of a temperature keeping cover cannot be opened and closed, by providing a structure wherein the opening and closing lid can be freely slid and opened and closed, with the tightening members of aligning pieces as a guide. CONSTITUTION:A temperature keeping cover for a water measuring device comprises the following parts: a pair of right and left aligning pieces 1 and 2 having containing parts 1a and 2a, which contain the water measuring device M or a stop cock; tightening members 4 and 4, which tighten said aligning pieces 1 and 2; and an opening and closing lid, which is slidably fixed so that an opening part S of said aligning pieces 1 and 2 is opened and closed, with said tightening parts 4 and 4 as a guide. In this constitution, the lid can be smoothly opened and closed, even at the place where pipes for gas and the like are arranged directly over the water measuring device or the stop cock and the lid for the temperature keeping cover cannot be opened and closed. The opening and closing operation of the stop cock can be easily performed. |
