发明名称 PRESSING METHOD BY INDUSTRIAL ROBOT
摘要 PURPOSE:To assure the safety of the operator at the highest possible degree by having a start button kept pushed by a robot while a slide is in a specific range when the press operation is selected to one safe step. CONSTITUTION:Top and bottom dies 3, 5 are provided to the bed 2 and slide 4 of a press machine 1 and a press start button 6 is provided to the bed 2. When the robot 9 at the front of the machine confirms the arrival of the slide at the top bottom point with the angle of the rotary cam at 0 deg. of the press, the robot supplies the blank material on a base 12 to the die with a suction means 11 at the front end of an arm 10 which can turn, extend and contract. The robot presses the button 6 and the slide ascends after pressing the blank material at the bottom dead point. The robot detaches from the button 6 when the above- described cam angle is 270 deg., and the robot picks up the work on a base 13 at the top dead point of the slide. When the press operation is selected to one safe step among one safe step and the continuous steps, the slide stops at the top dead point at every one operation and does not operate unless the button 6 is pushed again. Since the slide is so commanded as to keep the robot in contact with the button 6 while the cam angle is from 0 deg. to 270 deg., the operator cannot put a part of his body into the press during that time.
