PURPOSE:To set previously a non-signal part of a prescribed length on a tape, then securing the record of the recorded sound signal, by providing a power supply application detecting means and a muting circuit, and actuating a muting circuit when a power supply application is detected. CONSTITUTION:A timer sound recording switch 4 is operated to set a timer at a prescribed time point. Then a power supply switch is turned on at the set time point, and the output of a power supply application detecting circuit 5 is set at H. Thus a mechanism control circuit 2 works to drive a sound record/reproduction mechanism 1 to prepare recording of the signal supplied through a terminal IN on a tape via a sound recording system 6. The circuit 2 drives the mechanism 1 and a muting circuit 3. As a result, the passage of the signal of the system 6 is stopped for a prescribed time. Thus a non-signal part is set. Therefore, the recorded parts can be set intermittently via the non-recorded parts, and a boundary part between recorded parts can be clearly discriminated. |
