PURPOSE:To produce wear-resistant parts having excellent wear strength and toughness at a low cost, by inserting particles of high hardness by casting in spheroidal garphite cast iron having low m.p. and high strength, injecting metal having high hardness and high toughness and uniting both to each other. CONSTITUTION:WC particles are inserted by casting in spheroidal graphite cast iron, whereby a wear-resistant part 14 having the same shape as the shape of the part at the front end of a tooth 2 where wear resistance is required is manufactured. The part 14 is set in a casting mold 16 having the product cavity 15 of the same shape as the shape of the tooth body 2b and high Mn casting steel is charged therein, whereby the tooth 2 of the composite material is manufactured. |
