PURPOSE:To compensate completely the time axis variation due to the traveling system of a recording medium, by detecting the speed variation of the recording medium to control a delay means which transmits an input signal. CONSTITUTION:The output of an oscillator 30 is applied to a speed signal recording head 26 and recorded on a magnetic tape 10. This recorded signal is read out by a speed signal reading head 28 and sent to an F/V converter 36 to be converted into the error voltage which represents the time axis variation. A pulse generator 38 produces a clock pulse having its frequency varied in response to the error voltage and sends the clock pulse to a delay circuit 40 through which the sound signal given from a sound signal source 42 passes. The clock pulse controls the sound signal in response to the time axis fluctuation of the tape 10. Then the output of the circuit 40 is sent to a recording head 24 and recorded on the tape 10. In such a way, the time axis variation due to the traveling system of a recording medium can be compensated completely. |
