PURPOSE:To provide a titled TIG arc welding robot which eliminates the influence of the noise arising in a high-frequency generator, by separating the high frequency generator from a welding power source, mounting the same on the fore arm of a robot and making a power cable considerably short. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency voltage is generated between an electrode 11 connected from a high-frequency generator 19 on a fore arm 4 with power cable 16 and a base material 14 connected from the generator 19 with a high-frequency secondary cable 22 and is shifted to an arc to start welding in the stage of starting the welding. After the arc is generated, electric current is flowed between the electrode 11 and the material 14 through a jig 13 connected with a secondary earth wire 18 whereby welding is continued. In order words, the generator 19 is mounted on the arm 4 and the cable 16 is made considerably short and therefore the radiation of noise is decreased. Since the cable 22 is extended to the material 14 from the generator 19, the noise loop is shortened and the control device is kept free from the influence of noise. |
