PURPOSE:To enable various kinds of situational experiments by one kind of a model, by a method wherein the model is fixed onto a balance through a spacer and a flase sea level comprising liquid substance low in wave formation and power transmission is formed around the model and the height and the inclination of the spacer are changed to change the draft and the posture of the model with respect to the false seal level. CONSTITUTION:The model 7 of an ocean structure is fixed on a sextuple meassuring balance 1 capable of measuring a wind pressure component and a moment in each direction through a spacer 6 and a false sea surface 8 is formed around the model 7. A water sump 10 is formed on a vinyl sheet 12 reducing inertia force at the time of experiment as possible arranged so as to lie along the part below the draft of the model. In addition, as liquid substance 11, one low in wave formation and power transmission, for example, silicon, high viscosity oil, gelatine or the like are used. The false sea surface 8 is provided so as to be almost coincided with the floor surface in a wing tunnel and wind with a predetermined speed is formed along the upper surface thereof from a predetermined direction. |
