The invention concerns a tubular end piece in which is fixedly mounted the end of a sheath housing a sliding cable. In order to fix the sheath on a wall which has a hole for the passage of the cable, elastic clip on means 12 with elastically deformable longitudinal branches 34 are mounted on the nose 18 of a part 10 of the end piece, the free ends of the branches 34 being applied with pressure against the edge of the hole 14. The invention applies to sheaths for housing sliding cables. <IMAGE>
