PURPOSE:To make it possible to increase the gas discharge speed of the exhaust cylinder to a value close to the desired maximum value and to utilize air by sucking it without fail irrespective of the flow direction of the air by a method wherein hood units attached to the top end of the exhaust cylinder are connected together by reducing the diameters of the upper openings of the hood units in sequence, to thereby guide exhaust gasses outside the cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The diameters of the lower circular openings 11, 21, 31 and 41 of the hood units 10, 20, 30 and 40 are equal to one another but the diameters of the upper circular openings 12, 22, 32 and 42 thereof are so determined that the diameter of the upper circular opening of the lowest hood unit 10 is such as to enable the opening to attach closely to the top end 2 of the exhaust cylinder, the diameter of the circular upper opening of the hood unit 20 is made smaller by 10% than that of the circular upper opening of the hood unit 10, the diameter of the circular upper opening of the hood unit 30 is smaller by 10% than that of the circular upper opening of the hood unit 20 and the diameter of the circular upper opening of the hood unit 40 is made smaller by 10% than that of the circular upper opening of the hood unit 30. Further, the hood units 10, 20 and 30 are attached with bonding partition walls 19, 29 and 39. These partition walls 19, 29 and 39 are arranged at equal intervals on the outer side surface of the hood unit 10, 20 and 30 so as to extend from points 16a, 16b, 16c and 16d at which the circumferential line 16, 26 and 36 of the upper opening of the hood unit 10, 20 and 30 is divided into four equal sections. |
