摘要 PURPOSE:To enable measurement with good accracy, by a method wherein ion electrodes each having the same structure are immersed in a reference liquid and a specimen liquid and the interface of both liquids is partitioned by an org. microporous thin membrane comprising fluorine-contained resin or the like to take out potential difference proportional to the ion concn. difference at the interface. CONSTITUTION:A measuring apparatus 1 is partitioned at the central part thereof by a microporous thin film made of fluorine contained resin to form two measuring tanks A, B and, as ion electrodes 2, 3 each having a same structure being solid film electrodes, ones measuring ions contained in a specimen liquid, for example, fluorine ions electrodes are used in the case of a fluorine ion liquid. A reference liquid is supplied to the measuring tanks A, B from a pipeline 5 and electromotive force (asymmetric potential difference) generated between the electrodes 2, 3 is measured. The reference liquid in the measuring tank B is withdrawn and a specimen liquid is supplied to the tanks A, B from a pipeline 6 to measure electromotive forc between the electrodes 2, 3. Electromotive force proportional to the difference of ion concns. of the reference liquid and the specimen liquid is generated. The ion concn. of the specimen liquid can be detected from the difference of both measured values.
