<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain high temperature hot water in an early system by an upper high temperature hot water layer forming system according to a method wherein only the high temperature hot water is supplied to the upper part of a hot water storage tank and the power of each circulation pump is weakened by a flow rate readucing member so that no convection takes place in the tank. CONSTITUTION:In case where the temperature of water in the hot water storage tank 3 is lower than a predetermined value, a thermister 9 detects it and when the circulation pumps 6a and 6b are driven, heat source sections 5a and 5b, a motor-driven two-way valve 15 is closed while a motor-driven two-way valve 16 is opened so that the heated water is supplied to the lower most part of the hot water storage tank 3 from a hot water supply pipe 17. However, after the operation of a timer, the valve 16 is closed while the valve 15 is opened to thereby supply the high temperature hot water to the upper part of the tank 3. Then the hot water is jetted out into the tank 3 uniformly through a number of small spray holes in the flow rate reducing member 12 made of a porous material resulting in the formation of the upper high temperature hot water layer in the tank.</p> |
