PURPOSE:To reduce the production of NOX without an increase of smoke dust in exhaust gas, by controllng the swirling direction of flame and/or the air for combustion. CONSTITUTION:A lower stage rising speed vector 13 flows upwardly and uniformly, and in case of a swirling direction 17 of a lower stage burner flame 16 being clockwise, the flame swirling direction 17 and the lower stage rising speed vector are offset with each other on the right side of the flame 16, and a pressure is increased. Meanwhile, completely conversely on the left side thereof, the swirling direction of the flame and the rising speed vector 13 extend in the same direction to each other, the one is drawn into the other having a higher velocity of flow, and a pressure is prevented from lowering or changing on the left side of the lower stage burner flame 16. A fluid force vector 18 is exerted on the left side resulting from a difference in a pressure between the left side and right side of the lower stage burner flame 16. A rising speed is accelerated at the upper part of a combustion furnace 1, and thereby, the absolute value of the fluid force vector exerted on the flame is further increased. |
