PURPOSE:To enhance photosensitivity, residual potential characteristics, and mechanical strength, by using a methacrylic copolymer type prepolymer for a binder resin in a photoconductor-resin dispersion type electrophotographic receptor. CONSTITUTION:As a binder resin used for a electrophotographic receptor obtained, by dispersing a photoconductor into a binder resin, a methacrylic copolymer type prepolymer having self-crosslinkability, and 4,000-8,000 number average mol.wt. and 10,000-30,000 weight average mol.wt. is used by 0.4- 1.0pt.wt. per 1pt.wt. photoconductor. As a result, the obtained electrophotographic receptor is uniformly cross-linked, and little affected by temp. and humidity, and has uniform performance, and superior mechanical strength, such as resistance to abrasion and scratches, as well as high electrical and optical physical characteristics, such as photosensitivity and residual potential. |
