PURPOSE:To make the occupancy area of a component part and the whole small, by injecting cooling water directly to gland steam flowing in from gland steam piping. CONSTITUTION:Gland steam flowed in gland steam piping 16 from a gland seal part of a steam turbine passes through a gland steam flow adjusting valve 17 whose quantity of flow is fixed so as to keep vacuum to be required at upstream side and flows in a cooling water injection device 10. Cooling water passed through cooling water piping 15 is injected directly to gland steam in a cooling water injection dvice 10 from a injecting nozzle 11, a gland steam element whose moisture is condensed is sent to a steam separator 19 and then separated into condensed water and air by a separating plate 20 and the condensed water is drained from a condensed water outlet piping 23 through a U-tube 22 provided on the lower part of the steam separator 19. The air is discharged into the open air from exhaust outlet piping 28 by an exhauster 24 after passing through a screen 21 and a flow adjusting valve 25 above the separating plate 20. |
