Apparatus for the continuous hot production of curved tubular metal elements, in particular of steel, comprising a mandrel having a straight cylindrical shank (1) which is extended at its end by a curved shaping section (2), a measn (3) for heating the blanks, at the vicinity of the end of the mandrel shank and means for fitting and pushing blanks on the mandrel, characterized in that it comprises, on the straight mandrel shank, upstream of the heating means, a ring (4) which surrounds the mandrel shank and which comprises at least one cylindrical bearing surface (5) having the same axis as the mandrel shank, the diameter of said surface (5), which is larger than the diameter of the mandrel shank, being at least equal to the nominal inside diameter of the tubular blanks which are fitted onto and pushed on the mandrel. |
