PURPOSE:To eliminate wasteful time and to improve the efficiency of copying operation, by announcing the end of exposure for the set number of copying sheets to the operator when said exposure ends. CONSTITUTION:When the operator operates a start switch for copying, a CPU1 controls first a driving circuit 7 for the copying machine to drive a copying machine body 6; at the same time, the CPU controls a control circuit 5 for a display device. On the other hand, scanning for exposure is started upon lapse of a prescribed time after the operation of the start switch for copying and thereafter, the exposing operation for the set number of sheets is performed. The CPU1 decide whether the exposing times coincide with the set number of sheets and turns on a pilot lamp for the end of exposure in a display device 4 at the prescribed timing for displaying the end of exposure thereby announcing the end of exposure. The pilot lamp for the end of exposure is provided in the above- mentioned way to indicate the end of exposure upon ending of the exposing operation, whereby wasteful time is eliminated and the efficiency of the copying operation is improved. |
