<p>PURPOSE:To tighten up the adhesion between a photoreceptor and a transfer material, to perform accurate transfer, and to separate the transfer material securely by providing a transfer material conveying roll in contact with nonpicture parts at side parts of a photoreceptor surface in the lengthwise direction of an electrostatic transfer charger. CONSTITUTION:The transfer material conveying roll is supported pivotally at one corner of the transfer charger 2 and its surface is in contact with nonpicture parts at ends of the surface of the photosensitive drum 1. The transfer material P fed by feed rolls 5 is clamped between the conveying roll 4 and photoreceptor 1 to transfer a toner image, and also separated and charged electrostatically by a separation charger 3 in the next process to be separated from the photoreceptor 1. Therefore, while the transfer material is clamped, the transfer is carried out, so no shift in position occurs during the transfer and the transfer operation is carried out excellently; and a transfer part has enough force to convey the transfer material P to a fixation device 7, so a guide 6 is only arranged without providing another conveying means.</p> |
