The invention relates to a radio system for data transmission between transceiver stations (BS) moving along predefined paths and fixed transceiver stations (HS, ZS) disposed along these paths at predefined intervals and effective in both path directions, in which system the fixed transceiver stations (HS, ZS) of a path are connected via a cable (K) to a central transceiver station (CS). To prevent disturbing interference in the radio receiver in common-channel radio, it is provided that the frequencies of the individual fixed transceiver stations (HS, ZS) of each transmission section (UA) (modulation section) are offset slightly in relation to one another. In a broadband receiving component of the mobile transceiver stations (BS), the power of the received frequency-offset RF transmission signals of the fixed transceiver stations (HS, ZS) is added and occurring fade gaps are thus filled. <IMAGE>
