The invention relates to a mounted appliance for tractors, which serves especially for the processing, such as, for example, the cutting of ridges in hop fields, is arranged laterally on the tractor, preferably between the axles, and has exchangeable individual tools which are held in a variable position and which, having a rotary design, are driven preferably hydraulically. This appliance is intended to ensure that the outlay in terms of labour and cost during the processing of a ridge in a hop field is substantially reduced. This is achieved in that an individual tool (11), such as a vertical cutter, a conical disc, a plough body or the like, is provided transversely to the direction of travel (see 9) in pairs (see 11, 12), and this pair of tools (10) forms, with a horizontal cutting device (see 21, 22) following at a short distance in the direction of travel (see 9), a unit (8) which, if appropriate, can be divided. <IMAGE>
