Self-adhesive waterproof sheet and process for the manufacture thereof

The subject of the invention is a waterproof sheet based on bitumen and/or plastics, which is finished so as to be cold self-adhesive in places, and a process for the manufacture thereof. A waterproof sheet (1) is coated on the underside with a cold self-adhesive compound (2), which is covered with a perforated film (4) and for storage purposes with a silicone-coated release layer. The vapour release is ensured by the laminated perforated film (4). One of the edges is not covered by the film (4), so that a continuous adhesive strip results. Such an adhesive strip is obtained on the joint side by removing a strip of the film (4). No additional adhesive is required for an impervious bonding of the sheets together and to the substrate. <IMAGE>
