The invention relates to a device for covering foods with granulated and/or powdered material which comprises a frame, a hopper supported by said frame which receives a supply of granulated and/or powdered material, and means for displacing the foods along a path extending below an outlet opening of the hopper, whereby, under the outlet opening, there is a sieving plate (riddle) which has a diversity of openings, and the apparatus comprises means for displacing the material coming out of the hopper in a direction which is opposite from the direction of displacement of the food during operation. |
